The Three Basic Types Of Hair Weave
- Bonded Hair Weave: This is the least durable one. It lasts only for 1 month and then it would need to be changed. This kind can be pasted to the scalp with glue.
- Braided Hair Weave: The natural hair is braided through the middle of your scalp and then the weave is sown into your braids. This lasts for about 2 months.
- Fusion Hair Weave: It is the most durable kind as it needs to be replaced every 3 months. The course of action requires you to wax the weave onto your natural hair.
So, have you ever wondered what weaves are made of? Human hair weaves are made of different types of human hair namely:
- European human hair: It does not essentially originate from Europe. It is the name of a group of different hair with an almost similar structure. The characteristic European human hair is quite thin and its cross section is oval shaped.
- Asian hair (mostly Chinese hair): It is very commonly used for human hair extensions. This hair is thicker compared to European hair and its cross-section is round. It is dark black in colour and is not much expensive.
- Indian hair: Its structure is very basic just like European hair. The quality of this hair type is generally, very high. An essential thing, however, is the method of collection. When various types of hair are blended with cuticles arranged in different directions, the quality falls way below others. This is therefore quite cheap.
- Remi hair: This name can be often heard while shopping around for hair extensions. These are made from the world’s most excellent and beautiful hair, moreover, has all the cuticles aligned in the same direction.
- Synthetic hair: this fibre is man-made and is given such a look as to give the appearance of natural human hair. It, however, generates a different lustre as compared to normal human hair. It has a different bounce and thus it does not gel too well with human hair. It is most inexpensive.
