I am always on the lookout for makeup and beauty products that are made from natural ingredients. While there are many local companies that have taken to creating their own 100% natural products, I have yet to find a natural replacement for all my products with them. So I am forced to look at bigger companies that have the resources for a more comprehensive product line. My most recent find is Jason Natural Cosmetics.
How I came across Jason Natural Cosmetics
I found Jason Cosmetics when I was looking for a natural sun block. A friend of mine makes natural makeup that I buy from her, but she does not plan on expanding into sunscreen or deodorant anytime soon. And the enquiries that made with other small companies bore no fruit either. So I went where we all go today when we are looking for something – the Internet.
Some Jason Cosmetics Products
At Jason Cosmetics, I found a whole range of natural products that I had not considered before. For example, they have toothpaste made from natural ingredients. I had never even thought of changing my toothpaste. Research showed that I should because there’s a whole mess of bad stuff in there too. So I was grateful that this company offered an alternative.
Their all-natural products include almost every cosmetic that you use on a daily basis. They even have liquid hand soaps made from such delicious ingredients as apricot, mangoes, cranberries and lavender. I’ve already ordered a couple of them and am just dying to try them out.
The body care product line especially blew me away. They have everything from facial scrubs to exotic body creams and butters for days when you want to pamper yourself. What I love most is that I recognize the names of most of the ingredients. All their products are designed to nourish your skin whether it’s dry, oily, or combination.
Apart from the regular fare, Jason Cosmetics offers something else that I really personally appreciate. I’ve mentioned in earlier posts how Vitamin E, aloe vera and tea tree oil are good for the skin and that if it is in the ingredient list of a product then you will greatly benefit from that product. Well, Jason Cosmetics has all these things in its oils. Perfect if you are a minimalist but still want to take efforts to nurture your skin.
While I am quite impressed with the variety of their products, I am yet to be convinced if they are actually natural. I have done a lot of research and read till my eyes hurt from staring at the screen of my laptop, but the opinion is split half and half. So for the time being, I am willing to give these products a try and see how they turn out in the long run. I will also keep searching for websites that test natural cosmetics and see if I can find any further information about Jason Natural Cosmetics. I’ll keep you posted.
