Poorly regulated cosmetic claims
There are so many outrageous claims made by the cosmetic companies when their products are available in the market. Not all claims are true. There are so many falsified claims just to attract the customers. It would be wise if you could consider each claim made on a product as a suggestion, and not as a fact. Then you won’t be disappointed.
The real anti-aging product
We cannot prevent the skin from aging, but we can definitely delay the aging process with the help of anti-aging products. There are different anti-aging products produced by different companies, but the only best anti-aging product ever known is sunscreen. But you have to start using it early, otherwise it has no effect. You are not going to look 30 when you start using it when you are 55. So start using it right now if you are not using it already. In addition also use other products that you think might improve your skin.
Natural
Just because a product claims to be “natural” doesn’t make it safer or better for your skin
There are so many products that are claimed to be natural by the cosmetic companies. But you have to be careful…read the label and get to know the ingredients.
Makeup cannot protect your skin from air pollution
Companies may say that using cosmetics will help prevent pollution, but the truth is air pollution causes free radicals regardless, that are responsible for aging. Use antioxidants, which will help to correct the damage made by free radicals.
Expensive cosmetics are better than cheap ones
Many company claim that cheap products are as good as expensive ones. But, some cheap products are made cheaply. Highly pigmented eye-shadow is better than a lightly pigmented one. And obviously higher pigment/quality costs more. Don’t you agree?
Don’t stick to all the products from the same brand or the same line
Companies say you must have all products from same brand. You can understand what they mean; buy only from us. But, the products you use need not be from the same brand. Your aim should be fulfilled irrespective of whichever brand you use.
Ignore department store cosmetics salespeople
You may think that the salespeople have knowledge about products. So the companies will say! But, trust me, some of them are completely useless…just trying to push their brand by false claims.
