I am sure you want to look your best on your wedding. One of the days you will remember all of your life is your wedding day. So in this post, I have shared some of the excellent wedding makeup tips that help you look elegant.
Important Wedding Makeup Tips
The most important tip before you start your makeup is that make sure you do not try any new product. It is likely that it might cause a negative reaction. You might suddenly find out on the day of your wedding that you are actually allergic to some beauty products. So refrain from trying any new products. In case you really want to use them on your wedding day, try using them at least one or two months in advance so that you can be sure you are not allergic and if you really are, then any reaction that occurs can be resolved in two months.
Moisturizer and Concealer
Your initial step should be to apply a good moisturizer and lip balm twenty minutes before you start with your makeup. There are high chances that you may not sleep well the night before your wedding or that you are nervous. So there are chances that you have dark circles. Hence use a concealer on the undereye to cover them. Another most important tip is that place two cucumber slices from the refrigerator over each eye and relax for ten to fifteen minutes. This reduces any swelling and minimizes undereye circles.
Taking Care of Eyes
When it comes to plucking your eyebrows, do it five days before your wedding. By doing so, you’ll be able to avoid the redness and irritation that sometimes comes from tweezing eyebrows. Also five days is not enough time for the stray hairs to grow back.
Do not use very dark or frosty eyeshadow. Also avoid shiny shadows because they don’t photograph well. While all eyes at the wedding will be on you, you have to make sure that your eyes really look good and beautiful. Apply eyeshadows on your eyelids and a waterproof mascara. Take care not to apply any kind of mascara or any related item on your lower eyelashes because in case you cry at your wedding, the makeup on your eyelashes will smudge and this would look totally unimpressive.
Corrector and Foundation
Powder-based blush stays for a longer time than a cream-based blush. So the former is preferred to the latter. If you have any type of reddish skin on your face, then use a sheer color corrector or a yellowish-tinted moisturizer to correct that. By doing so, your skin tone gets neutralized.
Finally Lips…
Then use a little foundation on your lips to give a base. Draw the outline of your lips with a fine lip liner and then fill the internal with the desired lip color. Use a lip color that will suit your attire and skin tone.
So your special day is finally nearing. Read this post for wonderful wedding makeup tips so that you look bright and healthy when you walk down the aisle.
