I usually add texture and bounce by letting my hair grow out a little, getting a layered cut and then working on the curls! The length of the hair doesn’t really make a difference, as short curls piled on your head look as good as long ringlets falling down your back.
Ringlets can be created for long hair by twirling hair around the curling iron and then letting it set that way. Ringlets are great for the super-feminine look and personally, I feel like running my fingers through them whenever I see them on anyone!
Short curls and frizzy tight curls look great on young women and are very easy to maintain. For those of us who have always liked the kinky curled look, but never dared to try it, this season is the best time for experiments.
