If there is one brand of beauty products that spells luxury and sophistication, it has to be Christian Dior. Long recognized for the amazing fragrances, cosmetics and makeup they have to offer, Dior has become a household name for fashion accessories too. They have maintained high standards of quality and are incredibly popular with fashionist all over the world.
Dior make up and beauty products have always promised to make you look beautiful and elegant, which is a claim they meet. These products are a little more expensive than most of the other products available in the market, but are well worth the money you spend on them. I’ve been using a few of their products regularly for the last few years and I have to say, I absolutely love them!
There are some Dior products that I like better than others, so I’ll share what I’ve found are the best, as well as why I like them so much.
Dior Make Up – The Best Products To Use
Foundation and Concealer: Out of all the products I have used in the Dior make up range, I’ve found their powder and liquid foundations to be among the best I have ever used. The Skin Forever products are especially effective at making my face look even and smooth. The SPF contents ensure that I do not need to use a separate sunscreen and the application of these products is very easy. They glide onto my skin and make it feel super-silky and velvety.
Mascara: The Dior Show Mascara is one that I have loved using, as it doesn’t clump up my eyelashes, but creates a smooth layer that I can build up for extra effect. The colour is also intense and long-wearing and at the same time it’s easy to remove with a makeup remover. The biggest worry I have when I use mascara is whether it will dry out my eyelashes, but this product keeps them soft even if I apply more than one layer. The applicator is a little unwieldy but on the whole I recommend this product if you use mascara regularly.
Lip Colour: The Addicted to Dior lip colour palettes are the best choice for any girl who loves her lip gloss. They include two shades of lip gloss which can be used together or alone, depending on your choice. Since one includes glitter and the other doesn’t, there are a lot of possibilities for mix-and-match effects.
Eye Shadow: I’m particularly fond of the 5-Colour Eyeshadow kits by Dior, as they contain beautiful complementary shades of eye shadow that can be used for multiple effects. They range from dark to light and include at least one bright colour in each palette, which makes them very versatile. If you have one of these, you don’t really need to buy any other eye shadow!
