Here are a few basic tips to make your lip liner and color stay for a long time so that you don’t have to reapply them many times a day. Also, these tips will give your lips a fuller and smooth look.

• Apply a small amount of lip balm before you apply the color to your lips. It will keep your lips moist and the lips will not draw moisture from the lip color. This way, the color stays for a long time and the moisture will make the lips soft and smooth.
• Use the lip liner as a base to fill in your lips. Lip lining pencils do not wear off as easily as a lipstick. So when you use the liner along with the color, the color stays long. Apply the liner to your full lips and then cover it with the lipstick. This will make the lipstick stay longer. Even when the lipstick wears off, you will still have color on your lips.
• Another way is to use a good foundation base. Makeup artists use the facial foundation on lips to make the color stay. Thus, apply lipstick after you have applied your foundation. This helps absorb moisture and make lips smooth and soft.
• Use of powder is very important to seal in a beautiful long-lasting color to your lips. Once you are done applying color and liner, add a layer of facial powder over the lips. Your lip color will not fade through the day.
