When I think about what is most crucial to my makeup, I will usually include my best lip liner in the list. Imagine my surprise then when I conducted an impromptu survey among a bunch of my friends and found out that they either had no idea what lip liner was or that even if they knew about it they did not think it important enough to their overall look to really bother with. Of course, I could not just keep silent in the face of that. I began to voice my opinion and was cut off with ‘we’re not on the cover of a beauty magazine, what do we need that kind of detail for’ and ‘it’s just a marketing gimmick by the cosmetic companies to make you buy unnecessary makeup you do not need’. Well, needless to say, perhaps those arguments are right. But nevertheless, I promptly brought out my lip makeup and set about doing a demonstration for the girls and I ended up convincing most of them.

If you are like most people, then the most care you take of your lips is to apply some balm on it or maybe some lipstick on a special occasion.
