I would not deny the importance of makeup in the life of all women. It’s just like having your bath daily. But, sometimes I wonder if we over “do” ourselves and load our skin with harmful chemicals. Instead of enhancing our beautiful facial features we end up looking like exaggerated cartoon characters, unreal and dramatic.
I love to have a natural look, hence I have started wearing makeup only on the areas where it is required. This is the best natural makeup you could have. Natural does not necessarily mean “no chemicals”. It just means applying minimum makeup, retaining your natural look and yet looking beautiful. In case, you want to know more about it, let me categorize this in 5 steps for your best natural makeup.
Tips for Best Natural Makeup
For Good Skin
Skin is the most crucial part on our body. It is important to take care of our skins. You can achieve this by keeping yourself adequately hydrated. It’s important to drink minimum 8 glasses of water. If you don’t like to drink water every time, you can mix some lemon and honey in the water to make it more interesting. Alternatively you can also have vegetable and fruit juices.
For Your Face
In case your skin does have problems like blemishes and patchy areas, you need to cover them. Start by cleansing your face with natural cleansing milk. Then apply a moisturizer which will act as a base for your foundation. Your foundation should not be too dark. It would be best to get one which will perfectly blend with your skin.
For Your Lips
If you want to keep a natural look, you can avoid lipsticks and lip liners completely. Go for natural lip balms (available in various colors and extracted from real fruits) and gloss. This will have a scintillating effect. Your lips will look rosy, soft and perfect. However, if you do want to apply lipsticks select natural or neutral shades such as baby pink, plums or light brown. The lip liner should be of the same shade as your lipstick so that your lipstick will not bleed.
For Your Eyes
If you are naturally bestowed with good eyes and if you have used lipstick and lip liner, it’s best not to apply anything. However, if you have kept your lips natural and would like to enhance your eyes, you can use some eyeliner on your upper lash. Keep it natural by going with shades such as black or brown. Apply mascara to your lower lash. Area underneath your eyebrows will need eye shadow, preferably use neutral colors. Don’t over apply any of this makeup. Just one stroke would be enough.
For Finishing Touches
If you have an oily skin you will need face powder, brush it on lightly on your cheeks, forehead and chin. If your skin is normal and looks great you can skip your powder.
This is the easy way to get the best natural makeup done. It would also not take much time.
